There is an exclusion under the policy wording in the event that your luggage and personal effects were being sent unaccompanied or by post, courier or under a freight contract.  You do need to have your items within a reasonable distance where you are able to prevent your items from being stolen. 

As each individual’s circumstances are different, we will assess each claim on a case by case basis and in accordance with your specific circumstances, policy terms and Certificate of Insurance.
